I like to add a little lemon to my water. You can cut a wedge of lemon and squeeze it into your water, or you can buy a bottle of lemon concentrate and use it. (07/02/2010)

I went to a restaurant not too long ago and they gave me a water with a slice of kiwi in it! It was marvelous! (07/02/2010)

Crystal Light makes these little packets of flavoring, I think they are called "to go" or "on the go", something like that. Where I shop they are by the Kool Aid, etc. (07/02/2010)

You can buy a sugar-free syrup (peach is awesome) and just add a few squirts in your water. I looked everywhere trying to find it in the stores to no avail. However you can buy it on eBay. The person I buy it from on eBay is very reliable. I have bought about 8 bottles of it from this guy. eBay Member id:bellomondocoffee

I'm absolutely addicted to the sugar-free single serving packages in the koolaid section. If I have a double-tall drink, I mix flavors! They really are good. Often enough, I'll use only one package and double the water.

Now this has added calories, but a nice treat occasionally is to use something like a nectar (we used pear today) with a flavor like strawberry kiwi. It tasted like an alcoholic cocktail -without the alcohol!

Another nice thing to do, adds calories technically but in a healthy way - is to add some frozen fruit into your drinks. When you're done, you get the wonderful fruit at the bottom. (07/02/2010)

My body does horrible things when given anything with artifical sweetners of any brand. I like just plain fruit. Go to the grocery store and the fruit/vegi sections, take home what ever your fancy is. I like lemons and limes and pineapple. So I take and cut them to little pieces and freeze them. Toss them in like an ice cube. Also like the lipton tea bags with orange herb flavor. Can get at least 3 glasses of fresh flavored water-tea that way. Don't have to mix it strong. Just cold water, ice and dunk the tea bag a couple times. No need to brew. (07/02/2010)

Believe it or not, sugar free syrups are sold also, of all places, TJ MAXX! ;)

OMG, I just went and looked on ebay and these syrups are like $67.00! At TJ MAX they are like $4.99! (07/03/2010)

I don't know if you'd be interested in these because you might want to drink healthier than I do! I hate to drink anything and I especially hate water, I don't know why. Sometimes water will even upset my stomach or make me nauseous, bottled or tap. I never, ever drink carbonated waters, flavored or not. Can't deal with it.
Even adding a tiny bit of Splenda to water will help me drink it. There's something called True Lemon sold with Koolaid in the grocery store that's supposed to be really good. Don't know, but I just sent away for a free sample and will test it. So I dilute no calorie Gatorade, and power drinks.

I discovered that you can add Splenda, Sweet n Low, etc., to Kool Aid and other of these unflavored drinks. I dilute all with more water than suggested on the packet, including Gatorade. Adding lemon, that's not new, but it's very healthy to detox the liver. You can also add a little bit of honey and some cayenne pepper, tiny bit, and that's really healthy. The Cayenne speeds up the metabolism; lemon=liver detox, honey=natural sweetener, while not calorie free, a little does go a long way.

I do like to add lime juice though. Tastes better than lemon to me.

You can make herbal teas like iced tea and sweeten with Spenda, etc. Some of these are great; I like Red Zinger by Celestial Seasonings and buy it at any grocery store.

I like Constant Comment - can't remember who makes this, but it's with the tea in grocery stores. Smells and tastes orangey and cinnamony, a little like Christmas!

Health food stores like Whole Foods Market - unbelievably expensive - have a ton of unusual teas and herbal teas.

I also make my own iced coffee at home.

In the last six months, I think it was either More or Good Housekeeping magazines who said new evidence is in that shows drinking ANYTHING contributes to what a person is 'supposed' to drink each day, not just 'plain' water. Don't know much about this, but I started drinking the things I wrote about when I read it. Better than nothing!

I read - don't remember where - that drinking six cups of Green tea each day will make a person lose apx. 6 pounds in 4 weeks. I take it in pill form - from grocery store, drugstores. Besides, green tea has so much going for it for good health.

Don't know if these helped, but good for you for wanting to drink water! (07/03/2010)

I use a half of a lemon in one quart of water. My urologist told me the lemon helps prevent kidney stones. Squeeze it and drop it in to the water. The lemon oil is very good also. (07/03/2010)
