Make Seat Covers from a Vinyl Tablecloth

July 8, 2010

A chair seat covered with a cheerful blue seat cover with fish.I wanted to change the covers on my deck chairs. I purchased a colorful vinyl tablecloth at the Dollar store, cut the "fabric" to size, and used a staple gun to attach. Voila! New seat covers for very little expense!

Great idea! There are so many pattern options to choose from (you could use a vinyl shower curtain too) I have two wicker chairs that I would love to use outside, they have fabric cushions that I will cover in vinyl. Thanks for the tip.
