I just came across this and thought it would be so much fun for the wee ones to print, cut out and glue! Since school is out for the summer soon the children could make a bunch of them and put on finger puppet shows to enjoy. It would be so much more creative and interactive than playing video games or watching TV.

How cute are these little bunnies? Ok so they are a bit fiddly to make with those tiny eyes and nose, but really quite simple and a bundle of fun to play with.
Child's finger puppet made from Styrofoam ball.
Approximate Time: One half hour or less
Cut Styrofoam ball in half using a sharp knife.
Cut felt in one piece to fit both sides of ball as shown in photo 1. Glue to Styrofoam.
On opposite side of felt "hinge" glue eyes and pompom to make face.
Glue yarn to top and sides of upper half of puppet only.
Poke three holes in the back, one in the bottom half and two in the top half of head to fit child's fingers. (Photo 2)
