Making French Toast in Waffle Iron

Bronze Feedback Medal for All Time! 121 Feedbacks

When making French toast, I use my waffle iron to cook it. My iron is non stick so I don't use extra fat to fry in. I usually make a whole loaf at a time. Then what I don't eat, I wrap individually and put back in the bread wrapper to freeze. That way, I can later take out one or two pieces and pop them into my toaster to heat. They are good with or without syrup.
