Making Galaxy Jars

Total Time: 15 minutes

Supplies:

• 1 glass jar
• cotton
• 2 different inks
• water
• (glitter optional)

Steps:

1. Add a thick layer of cotton wool to the base of the jar. Now sprinkle some water and some blue ink on this. The cotton will immediately take up the colour.

 

 

 
2. Next apply another layer of cotton, but this time add pink coloured ink and some water.

 

 
3. Repeat this process until the whole jar is covered in layers of pink and blue. If you want you can even add glitter in the middle, that will give a perfect galaxy look! I hope you make this and like it. Make sure to use a slightly strong red/pink dye because the blue colour is really overpowering.
