Ribbon BroochThis brooch is an interesting cross between a butterfly and a flower and rather reminds me of a quote I saw on someone's scrap book creation recently which says "A butterfly is a flying flower and a flower a tethered butterfly". It is simple, pretty, and easy to make.

This flower is easy and fun to make. I have turned mine into a brooch by adding a pin to the back, but it can also be used in other ways such as for a hair clip, on gift wrap, or pin it to your handbag/purse.

This ribbon brooch looks really classy. You can alter the look by changing the width and length of the ribbon, by adding or subtracting the number of ribbon pieces you use and by choosing ribbons of different colours and patterns.
