Embroidery Floss and Felt Color Code Chart I do a lot of felt crafts that have stitched features. I had a hard time remembering what floss colors went best with the various felt colors. I made this color code chart that has a small sample of each felt color with its coordinating embroidery floss and color number.

Supplies:

8x10 photo frame
cardstock
felt
embroidery floss
scissors
tape or glue
marker

Steps:

Cut felt squares approx. 3/4 inches. Then using a sewing needle, run short lengths of coordinating embroidery floss through the center of each square and tie it at the center.

Cut the piece of cardstock down to 8x10 inches. Then using rolls of tape or glue, adhere the swatches to the cardstock in whatever arrangement you want. Write the floss color code below each swatch for future reference.

Remove the glass from the frame. Put the cardstock into the frame and put the backing back on. Enjoy!
