Mexican Chef's Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 onion
  • 1 head lettuce
  • 8 oz. Thousand Island Dressing
  • 1 bag tortilla chips (small)
  • 1 large sliced avocado
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 can kidney beans (15 oz.)
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 4 oz. grated cheese
  • 3 drops hot sauce
  • 1 lb. ground beef

Directions

Chop onion, tomatoes and lettuce. toss with grated cheese, dressing and hot sauce. Crunch and add tortilla chips. Slice and add avocado. Brown ground beef; add kidney beans and salt. Simmer for 10 minutes and mix into cold salad. Decorate with tortilla chips and avocado and tomato slices.
