Pay the Cell Phone Bill for a Gift
For Mother's Day, I suggested that my grown kids not send me the usual flowers and such. I asked them to go pay one month of my cell phone coverage ($35.00) so that I can continue to talk daily.

Mother's Day Garden
For Mother's Day 7 years ago, my husband and sons picked several rose bushes to plant for me in my "Mother's Day" Garden. It has bloomed beautifully since then and it was great to have all 4 sons and my husband work together on a project for me.

Preserve Fresh Bouquets for Potpourri
Last December our mother passed away and we received many beautiful fresh flower bouquets. After the service, my sister and I took all the flowers home, remarking how beautiful they were and what a shame they would die.

Memory Jar For Mother's Day
When last Mother's Day rolled around, I thought my mother would enjoy reading my own remembrances. I took a decorative glass jar with a lid and made a "Jar of Childhood Memories" for her to read.

Craft: Mother's Day Flower Pot
Mothers day gift made with flowers and pot. Take the foam and push into pot. I used a tin pot but you can use any kind you want. Glue item of your choosing on to one end of the dowel then push into foam any where you want.

Ideas for a Mother's Day Breakfast
