We live in KY and my kids go to "Children First". The name caught my eye when I was looking for a daycare because it suggests you put the "Children First". Another suggestion is maybe, "Aunt Lisa's Home Away From Home". That's all I can think of. Good luck, and may God bless you with the strength and patience you will surely need. (04/18/2006)

Choose a name that has the word "Learning Center" or "Academy" in it, cause the parents get the idea that their child is not just sitting around and is actually learning something. (06/02/2007)

I really don't like the idea of having words like "Academy" and "Learning", it's all in what you believe children learn through. I believe children learn through playing and exploration, and imagination! I wouldn't want my child to be somewhere that gave me the impression that they were all strict and only interested in a school like atmosphere. I would want my child to be somewhere that I believe would show what kind of philosophy the center had for how children learn!
