Odors in a Picnic Cooler

If you have nasty odors in your picnic coolers, just rub them down with a good dose of vanilla. For extra tough odors, leave the rag in the cooler and shut the lid overnight. This also works well for Tupperware container odors. Then wash the container out.

Vanilla is one of my favorite scents, but another way to get rid of odors in a container is to fill it with crumpled up newspaper, close tightly and leave it for a few days. (04/06/2007)

Recycle dryer sheets for this purpose, then afterwards place them in the linen and lingerie drawers. God bless you. (06/10/2007)
