Cure for Gel Toothpaste Mess
My husband makes a mess when using gel toothpaste. There always seems to be a big "glob" around the opening after he uses it. I wipe all of the old toothpaste off around the opening and use a Q-tip to apply baby oil around the cap and rim of the tube. It works very well and no more discussions with my otherwise "perfect" husband! By bsteph1956

Inexpensive Relaxing Bath
I love a hot, relaxing bath and have discovered that one of the best bath treatments I have ever used costs pennies-a-bath. For silky, soft water, add a couple of tablespoons of baking soda to the bath water. Enjoy! By Noreen

Soap Dish Tip
If you are using bar soap in your bathroom and hate the goo that accumulates in the soap dish, put a small sponge under the soap. By Linda

Pantyhose Soap Scruffy!
Another use for pantyhose. Cut foot portion of several old pantyhose about 6" from toe, put one inside the other so you have a multi-layered sack, fill with soap scraps and rubber band to close. The ends act as a scruffy! Refill over and over with more soap bits. By Joan D.

Hanging on the Towel Racks
I remember as a kid hanging from the towel racks in our bathroom. We would eventually pull them out of the walls. In my kids bathroom, I just use simple hooks bought at the buck store. They can't hang from them, and it is a lot easier for my kids to actually hang their towels up too. It doesn't look half bad either!! By Tori Parker

Toilet Paper Tip
Do your kids get mesmerized watching the toilet paper roll spin 'round and 'round, thereby using WAY more paper than they actually need? Next time, before you put the toilet paper roll on the spindle, "squoosh" it slightly between your hands. This will flatten the inner cardboard roll just enough to cause a little resistance as the roll turns -- resulting in fewer "avalanches" of TP! By Becki in Indiana

Frugal Bathroom Cleaner
If you run out of bathroom cleaner, toilet cleaner or you just dont want to pay such high prices for these things. I use a bottle of cheap concentrate washing up detergent a generic brand usually under 50c in the supermarket. Swirl it around the toliet bowl just like the other type, give it a good scrub, bingo sparkling clean toilet. The same goes for the rest of the bathroom. By Gail
