Rawhide Lamp Shade Care
By Mission Del Rey
Leather Lamp shades have no equal for character and charm in rustic décor. Rawhide shades are hand-made by craftsman using high quality translucent rawhide. A welded frame and hand stretched and laced rawhide creates a beautiful one of a kind shade. The translucent character of the rawhide allows light to emanate from within to create a wonderful natural atmosphere, perfect for warm, friendly and inviting southwest, western and country décor.

Replacement Cap For a Metal GOTT Thermos
I need help locating a stopper for our thermos. We have a GOTT (no longer in business) metal coffee thermos that is in need of a new stopper. The type it has can be unscrewed part way and you are able to pour the coffe out without taking the stopper off, thus keeping the coffee hot longer.

The "Secret" Fourth Credit Bureau
By Tim Covell

A fourth major credit bureau, Innovis/CBC, sometimes called the "secret credit bureau," has emerged. No longer is it enough for consumers to monitor their credit files with the "big three" credit bureaus, Equifax, Experian and TransUnion. Now consumers have to deal with Innovis/CBC, and dealing with them is not easy. Innovis/CBC is hard to find and consumers report Innovis/CBC is reluctant to provide information from its files.

Tip: Getting New Books very cheaply
I found out how to get new books as gifts, or for myself, much much cheaper than at any bookstore.

Compact Carpet Scrubber Reviews
Just curious if anyone has used any of those small compact carpet spot scrubbers. Our 10 week old puppy is a mess and he has made everyone else in the house forget where their bathroom is (outside). I know housebreaking is a process but I don't have the energy or the time to drag the big carpet scleaner out every day. If anyone has had any experience with one of these please share any positive, negative and brand info. Thanks!! Rachlls in TX

Sending Flowers - Shop Locally
The internet is a great resource for information. But when ordering flowers, you should be aware that things are not always as they seem. More and more, "order gatherers" have built websites to entice you to purchase your flowers through them. Some of them even buy ads in your local yellow pages. These companies often work in a call center, far removed from the recipient of your flower gift. Oddly enough, they call your order out to a local florist after retaining a portion of your money! Local florists are looking to re-educate the public about how consumers can get a better value when ordering DIRECT. A recent conversation with a Southern region florist;

Use Caution With Online Marketing Research Groups
If you belong to online Marketing Research groups and fill out the forms, be careful! The two I belong to are legitimate Online Research companies. They will ask for buying habits and sometimes ask for opinions of new products that may come on the market, send samples to try and give feedback, etc.

Warning About Glade Plug-ins
My brother and his wife learned a hard lesson this last week. Their house burned down...nothing left but ashes. They have good insurance, so the home will be replaced and most of the contents. That is the good news. However, they were sick when they found out the cause of the fire
