Internet-users who chat with friends using MSN and AOL Instant Messenger services are being targeted by hackers spreading viruses to empty internet bank accounts.
Free Printable Cards or E-cards
Does anyone know of sites that allow free printing of cards or E-cards? I know there must be some. I'm new at this. Also are there sites that have just friendly chat among cleancut adults NOT LOOKING for anything but good conversation?
Did you know that you can go to google.com on your computer, type in area code+phone number, and you will be given the name and address that goes with that phone number, unless it is unlisted. This seems dangerous for kids, especially. Warn them!
Looking for a Chocolate Lab Screensaver or Desktop Wallpaper

Printing Tips Without Printing The Whole Newsletter
I need to know how to print the tips I am interested in instead of printing the whole newsletter. Marilyn Spradlin
I do various points programs on the Internet, where, for reading ads, one can get points, accumulate them, and get free gift cards/certificates! When I get up in the morning, I have a set schedule where I go down my list of points programs and do them daily and diligently.
SCAM - Important News About Your Bank Account
We received an email today that some of you may receive. We have many spam filters in place and this one made it through. The subject is "Important News About Your Bank Account." Because the address it was sent to has no relation to a bank account I was suspicious. It claims that in cooperation with the Office of Homeland Security FDIC insurance has been denied to our the bank account. I went to the normal SCAM sites and didn't see this one listed so I went to the FDIC website. Here is what they say:
"WARNING! Fraudulent e-mails purportedly from the FDIC are circulating. Do not respond to any requests for personal account information. See Special Alert."
If you receive any email from support@microsoft.com - with a pif attachment do not open it - it is a virus -

ThriftyFun.com's New Website Feedback
Welcome to our new site! We have worked hard to test the site and make sure that everything is operation. If you encounter any problems, please let us know. You can post them below in the feedback forum or email them to us by using our contact form.
Years ago when the web was in its infancy, some people got the bright idea of sending out information about their business by email. Now understand that the web has its roots in the academic community, and they took great umbrage with these upstarts who were invading their world. They went to great lengths to punish them, and the term "spammers" was coined.
For those of you missing your newsletters and new postings on Thrifty Fun, our server upgrades hit a snafu last week and we were unable to post new content. We're hoping all will be back to normal by next week. Thanks for your patience. Susan
Hotmail or Yahoo Newsletter Deliveries
We've been having complaints from subscribers saying they are not receiving their newsletters. If you've been having that trouble or subscribe with a Yahoo or Hotmail address, please read the message here.
We receive such a tremendous amount of unsolicited commercial email (spam) in our In-Box every day, we can certainly understand why some people become "Anti-Spam" crusaders. Since the majority is sent with phony return addresses, it is virtually impossible to track them down. While there are ways to find out where it originated, it is usually an exercise in futility, as most come from professional spam houses who own their own servers, and aren't about to shut themselves down.
With Thanksgiving right around the corner, it's time to decorate the house "turkey style," to find the kids some fun craft projects, and to break out the recipe books.
