Organizing my CabinetsI have been reading different ideas here on ThriftyFun, and looking on line for frugal ways to redo my under the kitchen sink, bathroom sinks, my kitchen drawers, my food cabinets and pans, etc. I really made out very well after doing a lot of searching, I found the best pricing and best variety at Walmart.com

I also covered a useless wall in my kitchen where only my phone hung out by putting up a cork board, then mounting my phone back on it. Now I can use it as a message board, pin a recipe on it, as it is on the left side of the working counter where I do all my cooking/baking work. And I like the look.

I am happy with all the new changes. Oh, I also did my closet over with two white two tier racks for shoes. They were so cheap in price! You have to check out "organizing your kitchen/closets".

I am so envious. Everything looks so neat and well organized. I could do this. Now, do you have any suggestions to help keep it this way? I tend to get messy, particularly when in a hurry.

For under my kitchen sink, I used shallow plastic 'pans' that were labeled as kitty litter pans at the $ store for storing cleaners, etc. They happen to fit perfect front to back and can catch any leaks that may seep out of the dishwashing soap or other items. Next to it I have a plastic "drawer" that fits "snugly" under the grinder. We keep the extra foil, plastic wrap, sandwich bags there.

On the inside of the doors, we have hung magazine holders. One side holds the cutting boards. The other holds the 'in use' plastic wrap, foil, and wax paper. Once it was set up everything had an assigned spot. On occasion if there is a plumbing leak or problem, these items can all be removed easily for access.

fyi on your bulletin board for keeping pens/paper handy, you can hang a pocket (jeans?) with push pins. Another thing to put pens in is the bottom of a shampoo bottle cut off and pinned to the board. There are many craft sites if you want to get crafty with this.
