Use Blueprint Storage Box For Fabric Rolls
Most of the fabric I purchase is on bolts that are 54 inches long and difficult to store. I found a cardboard blueprint storage box at Staples and now all my bolts are stored on end. They stay neat, don't fall all over the place and I can easily view the fabrics.

Use Jewel Cases For Storing Small Craft Items
A new use for CD jewel cases: I was trying to figure out what to do with all the empty jewel cases I had lying around and I noticed that if you removed the spool it leaves enough room for paper quilled pieces made with 1/8 inch or smaller paper strips.

End Cap for Crochet Hook
I am moving soon, and taking a lot of craft supplies with me. I wanted all my hooks in this handy clear eyeglass case and this one wouldn't fit. I hacksawed it down to the right size, but didn't want my hook to snag on anything.

Cereal Boxes to Organize Craft Supplies
I use cereal boxes to hold craft stuff. I use one for colored paper, one for wax paper, and one for little paint holders (tea light cups, bottle caps, etc). I glue a piece of construction paper to the front, and let the kids color it.

Craft Project: Storage Box For Pressed Flowers
I found this to be a great place to store and organize all my pressed flowers. When I was doing a project I would just pull the whole drawer out, place it on the table and it's all right at my fingertips. On smaller projects I'd just pull the drawers out partially.

Store Craft Supplies in Tackle Boxes
I use fishing tackle boxes from Walmart or Kmart to store craft supplies or sewing notions like threads, buttons, needles, beads, etc. I also use one box for kids art supplies like crayons, pencils, markers, erasers, etc.

Organizing Ideas from Magazines in a Filing Cabinet
Since I have children, I often get magazines that have lots of ideas ranging from craft ideas to party and food ideas. I had accumulated so many because I wanted to keep the useful ideas that I came across. I was becoming overwhelmed with magazines.

Save Lunch Baggies for Storage
I use zip lock bags for my children's lunches but they don't like them after a couple of uses as they look crinkled. I don't throw them out. I found them useful for small pieces of fabric that I have prepared for patchwork.
