Keep an Inventory List of Your Freezer Contents
Make a list of the food in your freezer and type into a word processing program on your computer. Remember to use a print that is easy to read; Times News Roman is an easy to read print.

Organizing Chest Freezer
I have a large chest freezer. I have lots of frozen vegetables in quart plastic freezer containers. These tumble over frequently and get all mixed up. I have some baskets that slide on the uppermost part of the chest.

Freezer Storage Tip
I bought some of those small plastic bins with a single drawers in them at Walmart for $2.50. Now in my freezer, each of these little bins hold either several baggies of cheese, several chicken breasts, or 1/2 pound bags of ground turkey, etc.

Use Cork Board to Organize Meat in Freezer
We hang a cork board by the freezer to organize the meat in our freezer. List each type of meat along one side of the board, such as Beef, Chicken, Pork. Under these categories we list such as chicken, boneless breasts leg quarters and ground.

I was rooting around in my freezer the other day and had to throw out some items due to their advanced age. This prompted me to better organize my freezer so items would not get lost under other food items.

Tired Of Losing Your Small Leftover Packages In The Freezer?
Today I gathered all of mine up from all over the shelf and placed them in a wire basket. Suddenly, everything is easier to find and if someone wants a quick meal, I can tell them to go to the freezer basket.
