Use Binder Clips to Secure Garbage Bags
Bags in garbage cans slipping. I was getting frustrated with garbage bags slipping down on the inside of my tall kitchen garbage can every time I tried to put more garbage in.

Store Extra Bags in Bottom of the Trash Bin
Here is a time saver tip; keep your extra trash bags at the bottom of the barrel, so when it is full, just remove the bag and reach down for a new one!

Tissue Boxes for Plastic Bags
Don't throw away those empty tissue boxes, instead, store plastic grocery bags in them; one in each bathroom, near baby changing stations, in garage.

Sort Recycling Directly Into Containers
It was always such a bother to sort garbage to recycle, that I did not do it. Now I live in a rural area and pay to have my garbage picked up, so decided that I would recycle. I have my usual garbage can in the kitchen, but I also have two bags hung by the back door.

Store Food Waste in Freezer Until Garbage Day
I can't stand to have smelly garbage waiting for the pick up every week. I keep a plastic grocery bag in my freezer and everything goes into it; egg shells, plate scrapings, bones, etc. plus I rinse all of my cans and TV dinner trays out before I throw them in the trash.

Use Empty Tissue Boxes for Small Trash Can
Don't throw empty tissue boxes away right away. They can have a second life as perfect little trash cans for vanity table or bathroom! Having one where you do your makeup makes it so much easier to throw used cotton swabs, eyeliner shavings, etc. neatly away.

Milk Jug for Organizing Plastic Bags
Just a little tip for all the plastic bags everyone gets these days and I store mine in gallon milk jugs. In the center of the milk jug is usually a design like a circle, I cut the circle out then cut the handle in half just by slitting it in half.

Storing and Using Plastic Grocery Bags
Take a large mesh orange or grapefruit bag that has a draw string type handle from your store bought produce. Snip a bottom corner of the bag off. Insert grocery bags or cleaning rags. It hangs where you wish as well as easy pull out from bottom corner.

Print and Frame Regularly Used Schedules
This is a tip for decorating and organizing at the same time. I love to decorate meaningfully. I recently scanned a garbage collection schedule distributed to households by the government, divided the image into two parts, printed each on a standard photo paper and put the photos in a nice picture frame.
