Create an Inventory List for Household Products
To cut down on buying items you already have, create an inventory list for each bathroom, the kitchen and pantry. Create column 1 for the items, column 2 for Have, and column 3 for Need. Laminate the sheet(s) of paper and use a dry erase marker to mark the appropriate column.

Keep Membership Cards On A Keyring
Organize your store "perk" cards, gym membership cards, library card etc. by punching a hole in one of the corners using a hole puncher and then putting them on a key ring.

Use Laundry Basket For Transporting Groceries
Since I only have so many hands for shopping bags and hand holding, I now leave a laundry basket in my van when I go shopping. I can usually fit all of the bags into the basket and since it is contoured for hip carrying I still have a hand free for my son.

Parking Tip For Shopping With Kids
Whenever I take the kids shopping with me, I always park near a cart corral. This way, after shopping, I do not have to walk all over hunting for a place to put the cart, plus the kids can see me from the car. I can put the kids in the car where they are safe, unload the shopping cart, put it away and not have to worry about the kids safety.

I purchased a special pen which attaches to a lanyard around my neck. I bring it with me when I go shopping to make sure I (a.) cross everything off my list and therefore do not miss anything, and (b.) never lose my pen.
