I was trying to graduate my young son from the potty to a stand-up position. He loved being a "big boy" like Daddy but his aim wasn't good and I was washing down the toilet and wall several times a day.
This is a potty training tip. I never realized the importance of using a potty chair. My nephew was taught to use a regular toilet, not a potty chair. As he grew older, he was having trouble moving his bowels.
My kids (two year old twins) always take off their diapers and throw their poop all over. Even when I give them a nap they take off the diapers and mess up all their sheets.
My daughter is 4, we have been having troubles with potty training. She is fine when it comes to peeing in the potty but won't poop in the potty. She would rather go in her panties.
My 2 1/2 year old won't go poop on the potty. She goes pee and has had no accidents. She will not poop in her pull ups either. She holds it in for days and days. I don't know what to do anymore. Can someone please help?
I have a child (boy) who is potty trained but he has decided he does not want to be. It all started when he did number 2 and it touched his bottom. Any ideas out there? I have tried the rewards system and stars on a chart. He does not respond. Anymore ideas would be nice. Thanks
I seem to be having a sudden problem with my 5 year old moving her bowels in her pants. When asked why she does this she says she isn't getting there in time or she was playing and didn't stop.
My granddaughter was VERY hard to potty train until I saw a "Nanny" type TV show that showed the mom, dad or sitter doing a special dance with the child every time they went potty. I made up a very simple dance and told her I had a special dance we would do every time she used the pot.
This has worked for two of my boys. I made a chart with pictures of their favorite super hero. When they made it to the end of the chart (going potty moves your forward, accidents send you back) they get to call the superhero.
