Young Teen Birthday Party Ideas
As the mother of seven, four of which are girls, I have thrown more than my share of parties. Each of my girls have very different ideas, hobbies, and passions. So the party themes are varied as well. Please keep in mind that I do not pick a theme on short notice and I am always looking for new and different ideas. Planning and fore thought make for the most successful parties. The longer you have to plan, the cheaper the event.

Buying a Bathing Suit for a Pre-Teen
I am raising my grand daughter and this season she is into Jr. sizes. I have looked and looked and CANNOT find a decent bathing suit in her size! I know it is early in the season, however, none of the places I have looked even showed a one-piece suit and all the two pieces are too skimpy for an 11 year old.

Build Character with This Delicious Triple A Recipe
By Jean Tracy, MSS
Vinegar or honey, what do kids really want? "Toys, candy, and their own way," answer millions of parents. They say you can catch more flies with a spoonful of honey than with a cupful of vinegar. So why do too many toys, too much candy, and constantly giving in to our children, create sour little characters? Aren't these the ingredients for honey?
