At baby showers, there is of course food, as well as a lot of celebration, fun, laughter, and of course, games! Baby shower games are one of the best ways to keep a baby shower exciting and fun.
Baby Questions - Baby Shower Game. Give each person an index card and a pencil. Everyone is asked to write down one common baby question, such as "What do you do when a baby cries?" or "How do you get a baby to sleep through the night?" Then collect the cards and redistribute them face down so that no one can see the question.
Any kind of shower can be a diaper party, but the basic idea is to encourage each guest to bring a package of disposable diapers to the party as a gift. That way mom is well stocked for a long time in the future.
Ask each guest to bring an outfit for dressing up a baby doll. Each guess in turn dresses the doll. Whoever's outfit the mom to be likes best wins a prize!
Divide the women up into teams of two each. Blindfold each pair and put a bib on both of them. Give them each a pudding cup and tell them they must feed each other. The pair of women who can feed each other fastest without spilling any pudding anywhere win.
In this game guest must answer True or False questions about the mom-to-be correctly. If they answer incorrectly they must pick an absurd task to do from a diaper pail. These tasks could be things like singing a song, reciting a nursery rhyme or rubbing their belly and patting the top of their head at the same time.
This game is good if the mother already knows the name of the baby. Fill a bag with a full set of scrabble tiles (or tiles from two games if you have a lot of guests.) Pass the bag around and have each guest withdraw one tile.
The "joke" behind this game is that the Dad is not the real dad. Cut out pictures of movie stars and rock stars and tape them to some corkboard. Then have the mother choose which celebrity she would have most rather had father her child. The guests are then provided with darts to throw at the celebrity fathers.
