| Alternatives to Wine Glasses

I could sure use some advice! I'm planning a surprise party for my sis's 50th birthday. I'm planning to serve wine as the only alcoholic beverage and don't have enough wine glasses to go around. I really don't like the look of plastic cups.

| Plastic Cake Container for a Salad
|
|
When making a large salad to carry to a potluck dinner, use a plastic cake server, turned upside down. I did this for a seven layer salad. The salad showed nicely through the clear plastic, and the "bottom" of the container makes a convenient lid.

| How to make a lovely presentation of plated food.
|
|
I am trying to figure out ways to present chicken salad for a formal or at the very least an upscale luncheon. I plan to use my Azalea dishes and want the plate to look very exciting visually or professionally done. I have searched the Net to find "decoration" or "pretty presentation" without much success. Sure would appreciate any help.

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find wholesale Spam, I am a caterer who specializes in retro-Americana cuisine and I have contacted Hormel numerous times and they have yet to get back to me. Buying Spam by the can is such a ripoff!
