This is a photo of a Goodie Bag I created for my son's Chuck E. Cheese Birthday Party in May. I was going to go the normal route and buy those cheesy little plastic goodie bags but with all the items I wanted to give the kids, I thought they were too small and easily punctured.
Have all the girls sleep in a tent and put out a fire pit or a smokey Joe. Cook hot dogs and hamburgers over the fire and roast marshmallows and have s'mores. Give each girl a s'more kit to take home.
Summer comes and goes much too quickly, but you can create a little excitement over heading back to the classroom. Take advantage of the great deals and throw a Back to School Bingo for your kids!
Our Grandchildren were visiting last week. I wanted to do something different for their party. This was the highlight of the party (the children attending were 2, 3, 5, 6 and 12 years old).
Teddy Bear Picnic is a beary cute party. We made Teddy bear sugar cookies. Just add Teddy Grahams before you bake them. We made a CD with all Teddy bear tunes for our guests and gave them each a silicone Teddy bear cupcake mold as a favor.
I had a very frugal carnival party for a 6 year old. All the games were made from items we had on hand. Prizes came from Freecycle but you could do the same for a very little more expense by purchasing from Oriental Trading (or the Dollar Store).
