Cook sugar and water to make a syrup. Mix strong tea, lemon juice, orange juice and syrup. Let chill. Put ice in bowl; add juice mixture and ginger ale.

Thrifty Warm Apple Cider Recipe
I am looking for a thrifty recipe for warm apple cider for a New Year's Eve party.
Combine all ingredients in blender; blend until smooth. Sprinkle with nutmeg, pour into punch bowl and serve.
A hot Cranberry Pineapple beverage for parties.
When ready to serve, add 1 (28 oz.) bottle ginger ale and 1 quart raspberry sherbet.
With the holidays fast approaching, I thought this might be an inexpensive recipe to have on hand for all those parties and for all year.
