I work at a movie theatre and we were allowed to dress up for the movie Prom Night. I brought my boyfriend to see the movie in the biggest theatre on the busiest night. I asked one of the managers to make a little 'announcement' before the movie started, having her ask my boyfriend to stand up in front of everyone and asked him to prom for me while everyone was watching!
It's prom time and did you know that the people who make Duck Tape have a contest for prom wear made out of Duck Tape? All sorts of cool pix and DIY plans for other projects at:
We are going to have a masquerade prom and I wanted to know if any one had ideas for the food, decorations, and colors. I'm not sure how many people will be there yet.
My daughter's prom is May 11. We are thinking of having a pre-prom party around our pool. We would invite all parents/anyone wishing to take pictures etc. and serve finger foods.
I just was in an upscale thrift shop and if I had been looking for a prom dress, there were several long formal gowns there for $20! Remember there are often deals on formal dresses!
Paying for clothing, sports, field trips, and every other high school activity is taxing on the bank book as is. Then, Junior and Senior Proms loom, costing more every year. Isn't there a better way to have fun without hurting the wallet?
