Permanent Marker Stains on Clothing

How do I remove a red marker stain from beige cotton slacks?

Use a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol and lightly rub with the swab with a folded paper towel underneath to "pull" the ink out. This also works with dry cleanable clothing. Just don't rub to hard, as this will lighten the spot more and "fuzz" the fabric. Hope this helps.

You can get a product called Amodex. It's available at grocery stores, etc. in the stain remover section. It works best on stains that have not already been treated with other products. (01/23/2010)
