I had tiny ants around my kitchen counter that were coming from around the receptacle on the back splash. I cannot put anything wet around the receptacle because of the electricity. Does anyone have any suggestions of how I can get rid of the ants?
Works like a charm! Better than ant traps. If it rains though, of course you have to put down more. When I see ants, I open several packets (one would probably be fine, but I tend to be a little gung ho on things) and spread them out in the path they're making.
To keep the ants out of the hummingbird feeders, apply Vaseline or stiff hair jell to the hanger or wire of the feeder. The ants can go as far as the jell then they can't go further to get in the feeder.
We get ants when we leave our cat food on the floor. Since the food is in the laundry room, I put a non-skid rug on the dryer and put the cat food on the dryer.
I have what I was told are sugar ants. I have put all foodstuff in jars etc. Now I found out they are in my carpeting in the living room. I am not familiar with sugar ants so don't have any idea what to do. I sprayed bug spray on my baseboards also. Please help.
Want to keep ants away from your kitchen counter, garbage can or away from shrubs or trees or flowers or just about anything? I use black pepper from the kitchen. Just sprinkle it around anything and leave it there, it will deter ants large and small.
