Keeping Your Sanity With Chiggers
Too bad there is not a category for "Keeping Your Sanity" because during chigger season, that is what this is. I have found several things that help but the best is Rid. Yes, the product you use for head lice. I am always embarrassed when I have to buy it, and usually end up having to ask where it is.

Praying Mantis Is Good In The Garden
If you see any of these guys in your garden, do not shoo them away or kill them. These are called Praying Mantis and they will kill all of those pesky grasshoppers that eat up your veggies and leaves.

Frugal Spray For Flying Pests
Spray flying pests with a solution of 1/3 rubbing alcohol, 1/3 vinegar and 1/3 water. This is the same solution I use to clean my hard floors. Spraying flying creatures with windex or hairspray also works. By Lynn
