Getting Rid of Raccoons
We just put moth balls in our attic to ward away raccoons, but the smell is so strong. Will this go away or do I need to go back and get them out of there?

Bird Feeders Attract Raccoons
If you live near a wooded area that has raccoons, don't put out bird feeders! We found the seeds were attracting raccoons to our yard which endangers our cat! Thankfully, once we removed the bird feeders the raccoons went elsewhere for food.

Keep Food Scraps Away from Raccoons
Never leave food scraps in a fire pit or in an uncovered garbage can. Use care with your compost pile to cover all your food scraps so the food doesn't attract nasty animals like raccoons and skunks.

Getting Raccoons to Leave Neighborhood
How do I get rid of raccoons? We didn't know it at the time, but a neighbor family was feeding some wild raccoons. All we knew is that we had raccoons that were multiplying and becoming more and more curious and aggressive about their search for food. Before those neighbors fed the raccoons, the raccoons stayed up in the hills away from neighborhoods, but now they scour the neighborhood looking for food, getting into the trash, getting into people's garages, destroying things on people's decks, and so on.

Raccoons Keep Getting Into My Shed
Raccoons keep getting into my shed. I keep trying to block an open area where they get in, but they are always able to remove it. I'm a senior, on my own, and none too handy with tools.

Raccoon Repellents
Raccoon Repellents ideas. I live on the edge of a hundred acres of woods and have trouble with raccoons. I have removed every possible food source from our outdoors including cat food and bird seed. They now have taken to destroying all of the potted plants. Last year they even dug up all my ivy that I planted on a bank.

Raccoons Living in a Chimney
The immediate problem is raccoons. They are living in the chimney. We hear scratching and what sounds like construction in the living room wall. I went on the roof yesterday and lowered a trouble light down.
