I happen to get quite a bit of spiders in my house. I hate to find them near my babies' cribs. I found a way to eliminate spiders without sprays. Put double sided tape on an index card or scrap paper.
To eliminate spiders, place hedge apples near the locations that spiders build their webs. Place the hedge apple on something that can be thrown away with the hedge apple after it deteriorates into a lump.
I have a problem with red spiders making a ton of 'homes' in the ceiling of my outdoor porch. Their webs/cocoons are also red. They are so hard to get rid of that I can't even brush them away with a stiff broom.
How do you get rid of black widow spiders? Is there a natural and/or affordable way to control them? We have pets and a three year old child to take into consideration while searching for a solution.
I live in a 2nd floor apt. and we get a lot of spiders in the summer. My daughter is petrified of them and I'm not too fond of them myself. We always seem to find them on our high ceilings. I have tried using my Swiffer or a mop or broom to smoosh them but it makes them drop on the floor and sometimes run away. Does anyone know of a better solution to this pesky and a little creepy problem? I was looking at those bug vacuums but they are all too short to reach the ceiling. Any help or suggestions at all would be greatly appreciated!
