Controlling Ticks
What is the best thing to use to get rid of ticks? I found one on my Cocker. I finally removed it, but I don't want to have to remove anymore.

Easy Tick Removal
I was able to successfully remove an engorged woodtick off my dog, head and all, without having to actually touch the tick. The goal is to get it to come out head and all while it is alive.

Getting Rid of Ticks - Our Yard Is Infested With Ticks
I live in Kansas and I am having a terrible problem with ticks in my yard. I live right next to a weed and tree infested lot, out in the country. We have a dying pine tree that needs to be removed this summer. Are ticks attracted to this as well?

What Attracts Ticks?
When my brother and his wife go for walks he comes back with several ticks attached and she has none. She says it is because he drinks Pepsi. Is this true? Does anyone know why he gets them and she does not?

Getting Rid of Ticks in My House
I live in West Texas and my yard and the inside of my house are infested with ticks. I just had to take a litter of gsp to the shelter because I thought they would have a better chance. I've treated my yard with Orthomax, Sevendust, and Orkin.

Ticks on Mattresses
My DH took possession of lounges from a good friend (or so we thought). Our friend had let his dogs sleep on the lounges (after we agreed to take them, to help him out) and they were full off ticks.

Borax for Ticks?
I've been reading in Thrifty Tips about using borax in the wash instead of bleach (works great) and on the carpet to kill fleas. Can anyone tell me if it will kill ticks on the carpet and outside on the ground?

Crabapples (Hedge apples?) for Pest Control
We recently bought a house sight unseen, we later found out that there was an infestation of cock roaches, and termites. We bought everything on the market for the cockroaches. My grandmother told me to cut some crabapples in half and put a half of the crabapple where I had seen the roaches, well I did not believe that it would work, well it did!
