Pet Accidents Damaging Wood Laminate Floor Finish?

Our new puppy has had several accidents on our wood laminate flooring. We wipe it up as soon as we find it, but it seems to be removing the finish off of the floor. Is there any way to fix this? Thanks for any suggestions you can offer.

I have found that blue Dawn dish washing liquid in a bucket of very hot water gets the urine smell out. Not only will you have shiny floors but everything will smell good. This really takes the smell away.
