The Kuvasz is large, solidly-built herding dog with a wedge-shaped head, large black nose and a wavy, white coat. This breed combines strength and speed with a noble demeanor and was developed specifically to guard flocks of sheep, not herd them. Naturally wary of strangers, the Kuvasz is always fiercely loyal and devoted to his flock-whether people or other animals.
