Use Pet Food in Homemade Pet Toys
When making noise-making pet toys, such as the ones using empty water bottles, potato chip canisters, or pill bottles, use dry food or treats instead of the suggested marbles, bells, etc.

Craft Project: Rag Knots Chewing Toy
I started making these for the local humane society to sell at fundraisers as well as at the local vet clinics. The vets found this as a perfect toy. It is stitched, it is safe. my own dog steals them from the sewing machine.

Thrifty Homemade Dog Toys
I am unemployed and even when I had a job, we wasted a lot of money on pet toys our lab/pointer destroyed in a few minutes. Cheap toy ideas (please supervise your pet during play) can be right (almost) in your garbage.

Product Review: Petstages Chewing Orka Jack
I just wanted to mention a pet toy that was worth every inch of what I paid for it. It's the Orka Jack by Petstages, purchased at a local Petco store. It's the only toy I can twist out of my 60 pound dog's mouth to throw.

Make Chew Bones Interesting Again
Keeping those rawhide chew bones interesting: A clerk at the pet store told me that instead of throwing them out, she rubs a small amount of peanut butter on cleaned doggie rawhide chew bones, puts them in a plastic bag in the freezer overnight, and in the morning the dog acts as though it's a brand new chew.

Looking for Giant Tennis Balls
Does anyone know where to purchase a tennis ball the size of a basketball? Walmart carried these about five years ago. My yellow lab loved it! He could not pop it because it was too big. I can't find them anywhere. The ball needs to be light enough to roll easily. Thanks!
