Use Olive Oil To Remove Sap/Pitch
My dog had stepped in a big pile of sap/pitch and it covered her whole left back foot. I read somewhere where butter would help. I tried a stick of butter and it was working but not as quickly as I would have like. I then tried Olive Oil and I rubbed it in her paw between the pads and it literally melted away.

Dogs Are Always Smelly
I have 2 mastiffs and I can't get rid of the stink. They both have allergies. They are on a vet approved diet, bathed once a week with a vet approved shampoo and still come out with a wet dog smell. It just gets worse as the week goes by. I can't get rid of it. What can I do. Any suggestions.

Reducing Shedding With Your Dog
"Tis the season to be shedding." My dog has a very thick coat, very short hair. I can't get a brush nor a comb through to the skin. We bathe him 1/week, but he is now shedding hair and 'dandruff'.

How Do You Bathe an Old Dog?
How do you bathe an old dog? I have a 12 year old Siberian Husky who has joint problems. The weather has been extremely cold lately and I need to bring her in where it is warm. My problem is that she weighs close to 70 lbs and I just got my bathtubs re-done recently so I can't give her a bath in them. She would scratch the sprayed on finish. And, it's too cold to do it outside. Other than take her to PetSmart, what could I do to bathe her where it is warm?

Joy Dish Soap for Dogs
I got Joy dish soap as I've seen on other web sites I'm seeing some folks saying Dawn is what you can use to bathe your dogs. Is Joy (lemon) OK to wash the dogs and kill fleas?

Clipping Your Dogs Nails
When I clip my dog's nails it is always a scary thing. Just be careful and slow. I have someone hold Lanee (she's a small dog) while I do the clipping. Do not go in the pink.

Brushing My Dog's Teeth
Our 5 year old Rat Terrier needs to have her teeth cleaned. The Vet wants $250.00 for this. Has anyone cleaned their dog's teeth with the toothbrush and paste that the pet stores sell? I would be willing to try it. If so, how do you do it and how is the dog's mouth rinsed of the paste?

Grease on My Dog
I have a white poodle mix dog that got into some tractor grease. Any ideas on what to bathe her in to remove the grease and won't be toxic to her?
