They say that people after a while start looking a little like their pets. Here's proof!
Bentley is 11 years old and a Himalayan. Bentley came to our home about 9 years ago from a local family that wasn't able to deal with such a furry cat.
Roxie is a 7 month old Weimaraner. We got our pet the end of July 2011, 4 days before we were to go in and deliver our third baby. She loves to fetch, all day long. She loves to run for the ball or stick non-stop. She is so smart.
This is a picture of one of our girls, Cecilia, sitting deep in our backyard garden. She spends hours chasing flies and sleeping under the sunflowers. She always keeps a watchful eye out for anyone who dares get close to her flowers.
Chance (Japanese Shorttail/Manx Mix)
Chance is a 3 year old Japanese Shorttail/Manx Mix. I rescued Chance from a heartless "owner" (how I detest that title) who would not take him to the vet when he was hurt. I took him in and nursed him. I thought the name Chance suited him.
Sky is a 2 year old Paint pony. I got him from a lady near us who was downsizing on her farm. He is a mini horse that looks just like my big Paint, Scout. They are Scout and Sky, the 2 paints!
Skeeter is a 4 1/2 year old black shorthair cat. Skeeter was the last of our kittens. She is a loving kitty who likes to "talk" and get into mischief.
Taylor is a 4 year old Shih Tzu. I found this little guy at a year old on Craigslist. He was malnourished, injured, and ready for a permanent home after having 4 in one year. He was my husband's 55th birthday present. He is definitely a "daddy's boy!"
This is my mom's dog Sadie. She was playing Frisbee in the snow with my son and his grandpa.
This is Pixie, she passed away not long after this photo was taken. She was 17 years old. Here she is taking some mischief from one of my cockatiels, Molly. She was such a lovable cat and had to be where ever we were.
Tigger is a 7.5 year old Maine Coon. I rescued her from an ad on Craigslist. Her adorable fat face just did me in.
This is my sweet baby girl, Mickey.
Pita is a 1 1/2 year old long hair cat. This crazy kitty hitched a ride home with us via the spare tire under our van from the grocery store 20 miles away. This was in November 2010, and Pita was about 12 weeks old at the time.
I got Socks and her sister Queenie from my granddaughter's friend at 7 weeks old. She is 1 1/2 now. Boonie (4) is from a no kill shelter, when he was old enough to come home with me. He was the only brown one and I did not think he would get so big, but he did and we love them a lot.
Tool is a 3 year old Blue Heeler. We got Tool as a puppy, and he could always be found sleeping in or on a tool box!
Molly is 11 and a pure mutt. Molly was a stray wandering the streets of Rochester, New York. She was hanging out at a business my husband frequented for his job.
In Memory Of Max (Basset Hound)
Max was a 12 year old Basset Hound. My son gave Max to us when he and his wife divorced in 1999; Max was 2 years old then. Max liked to play with his buddy Roscoe (he's a Chihuahua mix) whom he grew up with in Sacramento.
This is a picture of my cat Kelly outside on the deck. I picked some flowers and put them on this chair. She is enjoying a lovely day.
We got Prince's mom (Kyra Mae) from a family member. To our surprise, she was pregnant with Prince and his brother Mr. Tink.
Mr. Jingles is a 5 month old Dumbo rat. My husband bought me Mr. Jingles (and gave him his name) just last week. Mr. Jingles loves to sit on your shoulder, and he loves to eat macaroni and cheese!

My pet's name is Pooky. She is a fifteen year old black lab. I got Pooky about a year ago at a shelter in Salem, Massachusetts.
Wildlife: Goslings (Baby Geese)
My children and I saw these goslings by the river yesterday afternoon. I couldn't get an exact count, but there were about 25-30 of them. You could tell they were used to people being around, because they didn't run away while we were there.
My chipin's name is Buddy. She is 4 years old. I got her 4 months ago when her owner had to go back to his country due to Visa problems.
Petey was a gift to me from my friend in PA back in August. My niece fell in love with him, and when Petey's mom had another litter a few months ago, I arranged to give her one as a gift. They are the best of pals.
