Photo Birthday Invitation

Photo Birthday Invitation - card and envelopeI searched Pinterest for 1st birthday invitation ideas, then created my invitation in Photoshop using elements that I liked from multiple examples. Then I saved the final design as a Jpeg and sent it to Costco to be printed as a 4 x 6 photo. I chose to do a test print to make sure nothing was cut off and was glad I did. It cropped it too much and some of the colors didn't print how I had expected them to. So I made the corrections, reprinted it, and was very happy with how it turned out.

I purchased blank cards with envelopes, then used scrapbooking adhesive tape to mount the photos to the cards.

I made an insert on the computer that had additional information on it, such as what food would be served. I cut them down to fit, then attached them to the inside of the cards.

The cards turned out super cute and were much cheaper than the options I found online. :)
