This is a cornucopia my 3 yr. old grandson made in preschool. It was to be filled with things he is thankful for. I asked him to tell me about the pictures he glued in and he told me about Thomas and the toilet paper. I told him his grandma is thankful for toilet paper too.
This was a kindergarten project that my son had this year. My older son remembered doing it and wanted to do another one. Before we knew it, the whole family was making one. It was very fun and I think they turned out nicely.
My daughter brought this home from preschool. It is a learning game with left over candy from Trick or Treat. Paper, Skittles, candy corn and a stapler. Draw a handprint turkey on a plain piece of paper.
Use paint to make this handprint turkey instead of tracing. Add a few details to the turkey and some fall leaves and you have a beautiful work of art to display at Thanksgiving time.
