Store Utensils In Jars at Buffet
We needed a thrifty cute way to hold plastic silverware on a buffet line for a 50th wedding anniversary party. This party was a casual summer time lunch buffet with sandwiches, pickles, olives, chips, and dips,etc.
For my 20-year reunion, I printed copies of all the pictures from high school that I could find onto photo paper. I bought large hole punches in a 1 inch and 2 inch size, and punched the pictures out.
While our grandaughter was staying last summer, we decided to have a tea party. She made the two of us hats. She made the invitations, which we hand delivered wearing our hats as we rode the golf cart down the street.
Fall Themed Caramel Apple Party Favors
I made these caramel apples as a party favor for my step daughter's baby shower. I made 24. It took about 2 1/2 hours from the first unwrapped caramel to the dressed up favor. These would be also nice for a fall themed bridal shower or wedding favor.

Let's Go to the Olympics Party
This year, I am going to throw a party on the opening day of the Olympics. The summer Olympics this year will be held in Beijing, China so I thought this would be a great time to pull out some of my favorite Chinese recipes. The menu I chose will feed between 2-4 couples. What is great about this menu is that if I choose not to cook, I can order all the food from my local Chinese take out and it will be less work for me.
