Tony is 15 years old. He was adopted from a no-kill shelter near Boston about 14 1/2 years ago. At his age, he likes to eat good homemade food and snuggle up for cuddles. He's a great cat.
Quanah (Chihuahua/Jack Russell)
Quanah is an almost 5 year old Chihuahua and Jack Russell mix. My boy was given to me by a customer at the home improvement store that I worked at. I was walking down an aisle, and a lady had 2 puppies in her shopping cart.
Here's Donovan sleeping with a friend. We have moved 3 times in the past 2 years and still have one more move to go! I guess Donovan feels he needs a friend to sleep with during the day.
Misty is 3 years old and one of Callie's kittens. She loves it outdoors when the weather is just right. She likes to chase the butterflies and hummingbirds. Misty never catches them, but she keeps trying!
Ellie Mae (Yorkshire Terrier-Toy Poodle)
Ellie Mae is a 12 year old Yorkshire Terrier and Toy Poodle mix. We got Ellie Mae when she was just a tiny bundle of fur at 7 weeks of age. We drove 5 hours to get her. On the way back home, she climbed up inside my sweater, and ended up inside my sleeve at my wrist.
Buddy Boy is a 2 year old toy poodle. I got him as a gift on June 16, 2009. Buddy loves to go for walks, run, and play fetch. He also loves to play tug of war and just cuddling with me.
This little critter came into our lives as an orphan. He lives outside but comes in at will. He sure keeps us busy, as he gets into everything. This picture surely expresses that he is a happy raccoon.
We adopted Zero after our cat Oolong ran away. Our kids were devastated, and after awhile we decided that we would look at rescuing another cat. We found Zero at the Humane Society when he was about 3 months old.

Flenters is an 8 year old Jack Russell cross breed. I got my dog when he was only 4 days old. A young couple that had been unemployed for several months was selling all their dogs in front of our local supermarket.

Peaches was making a commotion the other day in my home office, so I ran in there to see what was going on. She had found Big Bird outside of our window, and was trying to communicate with the bird.
Last winter and the morning brought 6 inches of snow for us in East Texas. Sassy Jazz is 21 and Call Me Patches is 29. We have lived in ETX for 17 years, and this was only the second time that we had had any snow, much less 6 inches.
Zoe is 8.5 year old Maine Coon. We got her from an ad on Kijiji.ca. Zoe likes to go outside when my husband lets out our toy Dachshund. She likes to intently watch the birds in the trees.

Lefty is around 5 years old. The vet referred to her as a bunch of cats patched together. Lefty and her 4 siblings were found as we were driving on a country road on a very hot summer day.
NaVaa is a 4 year old Schnauzer. I received her right before Christmas 2006, and we have been inseparable ever since. She likes to play with a basketball outside, all by herself. Doesn't matter the weather.

Wildlife: Goslings (Baby Geese)
My children and I saw these goslings by the river yesterday afternoon. I couldn't get an exact count, but there were about 25-30 of them. You could tell they were used to people being around, because they didn't run away while we were there.
