 After leaving the hospital where I work, I needed to relax because of the stress I felt. I drove to the shore which is on the way home and this is the beauty that awaited me. God bless America

 My son took this picture of Mt. Hood 3 years ago when he was 17 and had just become a pilot. He circled the top so many times the tower contacted him and asked if he was having trouble. He said, "No, I'm just trying to get a good picture for my mother." He did, don't you think?

 We were just coming out of a restaurant when I noticed our beautiful Mt. Rainier was out on all her glory. I had to stop and take a couple of pictures.

| Change Drab Photos to Black and White
|
 A tip for turning your colorless pictures into a work of art. Turn that boring picture into a work of art by changing it into "black and white" format in any of photo editing software. I used Microsoft Digital Image Suite 2006 on this picture. It was a very grey over-cast day. I got home and changed the format to black and white and wow!!

| Scenery: Relaxing Lake
|
 I find this is a very relaxing picture. I remember after taking this, my husband had wandered off, so I sat down to wait for him. There was a warm breeze, the sound of the water gently lapping at the edge of the lake, and the sounds of the birds singing just before night time. Very relaxing.
