My husband and I have been through thick and thin, laughter and tears, sweat and blood. He has redefined love for me and opened my eyes to the beauty of true partnership and redemption. I feel this photo captures that essence.
Scenery: Field of Sunflowers (New Jersey)
I am on a forever quest to enjoy the simple pleasures of life and this photo says it all. Field of Dreams! (In a field of Sunflowers, NJ)
I love this picture, the way the light shines through the clouds is so majestic to me, I hope you all like it too!
Cemetery Christmas Wreaths (Central Texas Veteran's Cemetery, Killeen, Texas)
Each year in November, our community provides the Christmas Wreaths that are placed on all of the headstones of the Veterans and their spouses. The volunteers return in January to retrieve and store the wreaths for future use.
This picture was taken at Niagara Falls.
Montana Landscape (Helena, Montana)
This photo was taken at an old homestead near my home in Helena, Montana. It's located just 1/2 mile off a well traveled highway yet from this location you can not see anything but landscape, it's like a little piece of country paradise!
Scenery: Brilliant Sunset (Muncie, IN)
Heading out to check the mail I saw this awesome sunset. Living in Indiana with no mountains can be frustrating when the winds come, no mountains to calm them down.
Sunset and sunrises are our speciality overlooking the Columbia River Gorge!
Scenery: Historic Coquille Lighthouse (Bandon, OR)
A few days ago, my husband and I got ourselves up about an hour before the sun began to rise. We got ready for the day and made sure to dowse ourselves in the shower to wake up, plus eat a little to warm up, before heading out to Bandon's South Jetty County park, allowing me to set up and get some sunrise shots!
When the stars of the night disappear, God send his star the sun to shine to lead us during the day.
This was a picture of a tiger taken at the Buffalo Zoo. He was standing up. It was a great pose from the tiger.
Travel: Christiansted (St. Croix, US Virgin Islands)
These was taken when we went to St. Croix. Absolutely fabulous place and the people are so nice. We stayed at the Hotel on the Cay, a moderately priced hotel. It was so nice and clean and "Right on the Boardwalk." We will definately go again!
Scenery: Setting Sun (Bandon, OR)
Moving to Bandon, Oregon is the absolute best decision my husband and I have made in such a long time! Being less than 5 minutes away from the beach is even more fun than I imagined!
Scenery: Cloudy Reflections at Devil's Kitchen (Bandon, OR)
We finally got a break from the wind and rain out here on the Oregon Coast! I was so excited to actually be able to go out walking TWICE yesterday! Once in the afternoon and once in the evening.

When you attend a wedding in Vietnam you will often see the bride wear at least 3 different dresses during the evening. Brides in Vietnam rent these dresses for the occasion.
Saying Goodbye to a Paradise: The Steinhatchee River Story
<img src="/images/articles/winner.jpg" width="72" height="77" align="right">We found Steinhatchee quite by accident. We owned land right on the Suwanee River just outside Old Town (south of Steinhatchee) and someone told us about a seafood restaurant (Cooey's) in Steinhatchee.
I wanted to share what we USED to enjoy on beautiful days here on the coast of Alabama. Of course there are still little places where there is no tar, but they are fewer and farther between with each passing day.
Scenery: Snowy Sequoias (Hillsboro, OR)
This a picture of the sequoia trees in front of the Washington County Courthouse. They don't look very large in the photo, until you notice the building behind them, which is 3 stories tall!
