I got engaged this past August and this was a picture I took and used as part of our announcements. I feel like it's just such a special picture, doesn't just show the ring but shows us, entwined :)
While looking for something to go into the bottom of vases to hold flowers for my daughter's wedding and keep the costs down, I ran across some bubble wrap laying around that was shaped like ice cubes. I cut two piece about 4 inches wide and 6 inches long.
To make a beautiful "embroidered" wedding veil that isn't expensive, do the following: Make a basic veil out of tulle. Draw a basic design on the veil using permanent marker. Use embroidery floss (all strands) and a narrow embroidery needle to sew the pattern onto the veil.
This centerpiece is just a simple glass cylinder wrapped in scrap book paper glued with permanent adhesive. This is sitting (glued) on a candle holder. Artificial flower bouquet made up of two colors. Tied neatly with ribbon on front and added jewel!
I'm getting married in August and I'm looking for some patterns to go by on how to make my own bridal and bridesmaids bouquets. I'm on a very limited budget and I'm trying my hardest to get everything and make it myself with help from my wedding party and close friends.

This is my first photo job, "The Joyner Wedding." This wedding took place on October 18, 2009 at Carolina Beach, NC, about 15 miles from Wilmington. This wedding was special to me because it was my first job.
Take Photos of Wedding Preparations
Don't forget to take photos of the wedding preparation. They make great memories. My granddaughter's trip to the beauty shop made a great photo. The look on her face tells the story.
Craft: Wedding Trellis Planters
Once again, I collected different planters, wire frames, silk flowers and ribbon when planning for my wedding this November. I created this out of a trellis that is planted in a fence.
During my Son's wedding they had a butterfly release in honor of their little two year old daughter in Heaven. One of the butterflies flew up, came back and landed on my son's jacket.
Craft: Floral Bridal Headpiece
This is the head piece I will wear when I get married in November. I bought a bag of craft items at a resale shop for $1.50. In it were these flowers, some trim, white floral tape and other flowers and items.
Craft: Wedding Floral Decoration
I created this piece out of a stiff wire frame, some silk flowers and greenery. The best part was a lighted ball that I weaved into the "plant" with floral tape, also found at the resale shop.
Wedding: Watering Can Centerpieces
I had an outdoor wedding in June and made these pretty centerpieces. I bought the watering cans at Big Lots and bouquets of flowers at Costco. A good friend arranged the flowers in the cans, using florist clay in the bottom, and filling them half full of water.
Garden: "Hawaiian" Flower Arrangement
When my daughter got married we held the outdoor bridal shower at our house. I found the planter (shown here) in the basement. I cut the flowers for this arrangement from my yard and placed the planter just to the side of our door.
Wedding: Hand Tied Bridal Bouquet
This is a hand tied bridal bouquet I made. Being a certified wedding planner, I keep my business "all inclusive"! I sometimes am the "florist" too!

Inexpensive, yet elegant, use the wedding colors to complete these simple little favors that take only minutes to make.
Use Wine As a Sign of Wedding Unity
Instead of a unity candle, my son had a wine ceremony. Carafes of red wine and white wine were poured into an empty carafe, then the mixture was poured into a goblet from which they both drank. I heard a lot of people talking afterwards about how unique and different that was.
Calla Lilies Photo for Wedding Invitations
These are my calla lilies. I used this photo to make my wedding invitations. They were lovely! I used the picture in black and white.
