While looking for something to go into the bottom of vases to hold flowers for my daughter's wedding and keep the costs down, I ran across some bubble wrap laying around that was shaped like ice cubes. I cut two piece about 4 inches wide and 6 inches long.

To make a beautiful "embroidered" wedding veil that isn't expensive, do the following: Make a basic veil out of tulle. Draw a basic design on the veil using permanent marker. Use embroidery floss (all strands) and a narrow embroidery needle to sew the pattern onto the veil.

Wedding Centerpiece Ideas

This centerpiece is just a simple glass cylinder wrapped in scrap book paper glued with permanent adhesive. This is sitting (glued) on a candle holder. Artificial flower bouquet made up of two colors. Tied neatly with ribbon on front and added jewel!

This is the head piece I will wear when I get married in November. I bought a bag of craft items at a resale shop for $1.50. In it were these flowers, some trim, white floral tape and other flowers and items.

I created this piece out of a stiff wire frame, some silk flowers and greenery. The best part was a lighted ball that I weaved into the "plant" with floral tape, also found at the resale shop.

I had an outdoor wedding in June and made these pretty centerpieces. I bought the watering cans at Big Lots and bouquets of flowers at Costco. A good friend arranged the flowers in the cans, using florist clay in the bottom, and filling them half full of water.

When my daughter got married we held the outdoor bridal shower at our house. I found the planter (shown here) in the basement. I cut the flowers for this arrangement from my yard and placed the planter just to the side of our door.
