Planning a Slumber Party in a Small House?

I have this problem, I want a slumber party for my daughter, but I have two reasons to reconsider. One, my house is not that big. Two, she wants to invite boys over too, which is kind of awkward for me, but I don't mind. The real problem is my house is very small and it would not be large enough for 10 kids that are 12 years old. It would be very helpful if anyone had a idea what to do with this type of problem.

It's your house and you make the rules. It is inappropriate to have boys stay over. Give her a number of guests you are comfortable with and let her choose. If she can't narrow the guest list down, then another type of celebration will have to be considered.

Your home, your rules and maybe narrow down the friend list she can have over to spend the night.

I think for the boys, they can hang out for the party but not sleep over.

As you are feeling a bit uncomfortable about this (we can tell as readers), I highly suggest you do a party where they can all come over and hang out, but only a few select will sleep over. Let them know ahead of time so everybody doesn't just "crash" as it will be uncomfortable for you and them.

It's not exactly fun to have so many people sleep over. Keep in mind, everybody would need to use the bathroom(s) and some people expect to shower in the morning. Don't be bashful, set the rules :)

First of all, I wouldn't allow a co-ed sleepover at that age. Why not a regular party? If you do have girls only, with limited room, invite no more than 4 or 5 girls. Your daughter has plenty of time for more boy related activities.
