I have a New Home 110 sewing machine, but the lifter is not lifting the foot. It moves up and down, but the foot doesn't - any ideas of what to check?
The machine is engaged as the needle moves up and down.

There might be a broken spring or lever
I'd check the spring-- I had the same issue
Usually this is a loose screw/spring.

I have the manual and I bought a service one too. All screws are tight, but the actual bar is not moving. When I take the cover off the lever arm is engaging but having no effect.
