Problems With Printable Coupons

I have tried to use coupons from Thrifty but the stores are refusing to accept them here because they are printed off the Internet. Are the coupons legit, or is this just certain stores in this area? Anyone in Chicago have this problem?

I know some stores refuse to accept internet coupons as there are so many fraudulent coupons circulating. I would ask for the store manager and tell him/her to visit the site to verify the coupon's validity. If he/she refuses, speak to the owner or regional manager. (10/10/2006)

Super Wal-Mart and Sentry stores will accept them as long as they scan. (10/11/2006)

Have you read the fine print on the coupon? The ones I clip from my Sunday newspaper say"Void if altered, copied, sold, purchased, transferred, exchanged, or where prohibited or restricted by law." (10/12/2006)
