About a month ago, I asked for some ideas for using in a Red Hat Group with mentally challenged women. Thanks for your ideas. In case anyone wants to start one, here are some things we have done:
I have a daughter who is 10 years old and the light of my life. She also was diagnosed with autism at age 2. I am looking to see if there are any parents I could talk with out there who have an autistic child. I really have no one to talk to and share my thoughts with. I am basically looking for a sympathetic ear, someone who understands what I am going through. Thanks.
What are some things I can do to help my elderly patents? I have rearranged their kitchen to make it easier. I take them to all their appointments. Does anyone have any other helpful ideas? Thanks.
I am in need of free fabric. As part of this years Project Graduation decorating committee, I need to transform the school into a magical place. Project Graduation is an all night party which is hosted by parents of graduating seniors.
I'm entering 7th grade this fall and will be going to junior high. It's a lot different then my elementary especially in size. I am very nervous. Do you have any advice for me? Please help!
I have been reading about community and one of the ways I thought I might inspire more in my neighborhood would be to create a website for us all. Perhaps to have a classified section, a trading/bartering post, maybe some stories about the early days (it was built in the late 50's) from some of the original homeowners. etc. . .
