I have a bamboo plant that is turning yellow and squishy. There are three stalks and only one is still green. I have tried everything. Does anyone know what is happening and how to fix it? I have had it for three years and this is the only time I have had problems.
How can I enjoy my house plants without those pesky little flies? I don't want to spray anything on the plants because I'm afraid it may harm them, but the bugs are driving me crazy! Any suggestions?
Here's a photo of my completed terrarium. The miniature violets cost about $4 to $5 each. I found the shefflera and a cute small palm at Walmart for $3 each. The small juniper was pricy, about $15.
I'm having a real problem with a Norfolk Pine. It seems to have signs of both too much water and not enough water. It was beautiful when I bought it in November but is starting to look bad. The lower branches are getting shriveled and the needles are hard and falling off. The upper branches look fine, but it also has yellowish/brown areas that fall off easily.

The leaves on my Arbacola Plant have gotten sticky and there is some kind of scaly substance on them. Can anyone tell me what to do to get rid of this?? Or do I need to throw the plant out??
Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated, cause this is a really big plant.
Does anyone know how to keep a pointsettia plant from one year to the next. My cousin gave me a beautiful plant at the beginning of December and it is still going strong. I have heard that if you keep them in a cool dark place, they will "reflower" the following year. Is this true? Do I need to water it on a regular basis if I do keep it in a cool dark place? Any help would be appreciated.
