Removing Concrete
I have a concrete block that is too heavy to be moved without breaking into small chunks. The block is about 4 feet in diameter and 6 inches deep. It is also reinforced with wire. I tried using the jack hammer, but no luck. Suggestions?

Refinishing Kitchen Cabinets
My husband and I are about to purchase our first home. It is a foreclosure so it's buy "as is". There's really not too much wrong with it. I want to make the cabinets in the kitchen a darker color, maybe a nice cherry wood.

Dying Carpet
My husband and I are about to purchase our first home. It is a foreclosure so its buy "as is". There's really not too much wrong with it other than carpet stains (and the carpet is a really light color, almost white).

Painting Over Contact Paper
I'm moving into an apartment that will not allow me to paint any dark colors on the walls. The only color that will possibly look good is dark red. Would putting clear or white contact paper up on the walls, priming, and painting over that work?

Painting Laminate Walls
I was reading all the great updates on laminate counters. Has anyone painted laminate walls? I wasn't sure if the varnish would run on a vertical surface.

Removing Wall Paper Glue
Does anyone know how to get old wallpaper glue off of walls? Most of it came off with wallpaper stripper, but there are still little bits left here and there.

Temporary Wall Covering While Remodeling
We are remodeling, and do not have wallboard or wiring up in a couple of the rooms. It looks like it will be a year or more before we get it finished. What can I do to cover up the walls so they don't look so much like a dungeon?
