Pumpkin Muffins
Sift dry ingredients. Combine pumpkin, egg, milk and oil. Add to dry ingredients. Add oats and seeds. Fill paper baking cups 3/4 full. Sprinkle with topping.

Blueberry Muffins
Combine first 6 ingredients in bowl, mixing to blend. Fold in blueberries. Spoon into greased and floured muffin cups.

Making Bagels Softer on the Outside
I made my first batch of bagels. They came out great on the inside (soft and chewy), but a little hard on the outside. From the recipe below, how can I modify it to make the outside softer? Thanks.

Monkey Bread
Quarter biscuits. Put in a paper bag to shake up in sugar, powdered sugar and cinnamon. Put quartered biscuits in this and shake up to coat. Now put biscuits in a bundt pan.

Indian Fry Bread
This is a fried flat bread with many uses includes topping with anything from refried beans, lettuce, tomato, shredded cheese, salsa and sour cream to honey or your favorite jam with peanut butter.

Bachelor Bread
Mix sugar and oil. Add eggs, vanilla, and salt. Stir flour and soda together. Add to sugar and oil; mix well.

Cream 1 cup butter and sugar together in bowl. Beat in 4 eggs and pumpkin. Sift next 5 dry ingredients into batter, mixing well.

Apple Chip Nut Bread
Blend oil, sugar, eggs and flavorings in large mixer bowl. Add apples and nuts. Sift dry ingredients together and add. Pour into 2 well greased large bread pans or 4 small ones, and bake at 350 degrees F. for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
